Ingwe to clash with Ulinzi on Wednesday

Perched pretty at position 7 in the standing out of 16, AFC Leopards starts its second leg campaign at home on  Wednesday 14th July at City Stadium at 3PM against Ulinzi Stars. A win will cement its place in the top six but a loss will push it dangling at the 10th prism. The encounter will provide opportunity for coach Makokha to test his new signings including the sensational James Kombo aka Junior who has been recalled to sharpen the frontline after being left out at the helm of the unsmooth transition. Others expected to make debut include a Nigerian import Gentle who has been offloaded from Sofapaka and Liberian import John Weya. Leopards was famous for playing well during the first leg but accused of lacking the killer punch at the end to kill the game. The attacking duo of Imbem and Selenga have been victims of squandering many easy scoring chances and only utilising 1 out 10 chances. As the second leg kicks off, the technical bench must bring out the best of each player to stamp the team's authority and finish the season in a respectable position. The management must also know that it's incumbent of them to ensure better results than last season when the team managed to survive relegation and win an FKL cup despite just having graduated from the lower ranks.(Posted on 6/7/10 at 1pm by Raba D,cruz)
