
AFC Leopards has announced a special general meeting on the 27th June 2010 to carry out a postmortem of the first leg, according to media reports. The SGM will be held at Nyayo Stadium gymnasium amidst murmurs of discontent among club loyalists in regards to feeble austerity measures by a section of the management. The press reports indicate that the review of the constitution will take a centre stage with some ammendments already being considered. Also to feature in the meeting will be a cohesive strategy to synchronise the operations of the club with the view to creating a fluid set-up. Meanwhile, plans are underway for the club to revamp its youthful squad by signing at least six ready to launch players in all the three departments.Tony Lidonde, Leopards team manager and former Leopards and Kenya International, said that three high profile friendlies are on the card that may see the team play in three different provinces before the begining of the second leg.
