Website Changes Official Status

www.afcleopards.net, Kenya's most visited sports website with close to 300,000 visits per month has officially changed its status from being the official website of the club to the official website of the fans of AFC Leopards. According to a director of Sportsbiz Ltd, the managers of the website, the change has been necessitted by the failure by the current office of AFC Leopards Sports Club to embrace the site, instead opting to launch its own site. "Our efforts to work a deal with the office went to naught as some office bearers were determined to assert their authority by launching a new website," said the director. He disclosed that the web master is working on various adjustments on the site to reflect the change. He said that the website will continue to serve the interests of over 6 million fans of the club all over the world by giving them hourly updates and news without prejudice, fear or favour. "We will be fair in our reporting and compliment the official club website, but will be inclined to serve the interests of the fans by providing a credible forum for them to dialogue and ensure preservance of the core values of the club.He revealed that the website will be launching a number of new products in the coming weeks to make it more competitive.
