AFC against Mathare on Wednesday

AFC Leopards meets Mathare United on Wednesday 7th April at Nyayo Stadium in yet another KPL's mid week encounter under floodflights. The 7PM kickoff will be a big match for both teams tied on eight points after six matches perched at positions 11 and 10 respectively. Whereas Ingwe has won 2 matches out of 6, Mathare has won only one despite boasting of some of the most experienced players in its squad. AFC will have to rediscover its winning ways after poor performance in the last three matches that saw it loose miserably to Ulinzi away and scrap out draws against Tusker and Western Stima. Leopard's veteran coach Chris Makokha will need more than words to inspire his striking force of Desmond Selenga and Itubu Imbem to deliver when it matters most.
