AFC Leopards was blanked 2-0 by an enterprising Ulinzi Stars to extent its non winning streak to three in the past three weeks. The army side took the lead in the 22nd minute through a fine tapping that caught AFC defence line napping. Efforts by the lethargic Ingwe side to make a comeback were thwarted by the resolute Ulinzi side that showed more purpose and committment in the play. Their hard work was further rewarded in the 90th minute when they scored their second goal to kill the game. Thousands of AFC fans who had thronged the Afraha stadium to cheer the side were dissappointed with the results wondering aloud what befell their team. It did not help matters as two dependable strikers Imbem and Selenga did not make the team, leaving room for speculations as to why they were absent in such a crucial away match. The loss, the second in six matches, has downgraded Ingwe's position in the standing to 9th from 6th, and must now aim to win the next match against Mathare United scheduled for Wednesday 7th of April at Nyayo at 7PM under floodlights in order to remain in the top ten bracket.(posted on 29/3/10 by Ingwe Reporter)
