AFC Leopards drew 0-0 to share spoils with Tusker FC in an exciting KPL cracker at Nyayo Stadium. The mid week encounter under flood lights kicked off at 7PM to witness one of the largest crowds to attend a local football match at night in the country. Buoyed by the previous back to back wins against Sofapaka and Thika United, Leopards emerged the better side taking the ball to the oponents goal mouth from the kickoff to the end. Poor finishing however came to haunt Leopards as the Congolese import striking duo of Imbem Itubu and Selenga Desmonde wasted several clear scoring chances that could have bagged maximum three points for Ingwe. Whereas skipper Imbalabala and Osama were in their element throughout the match, keeper Webo came out as the man of the match as he calmly stopped Tusker strikers in their tracks. Urged on by the thousands isukuti dancing fans, Leopards exhibited coach Makokha's "kiss the grass policy" to the letter, turning Tusker FC into an ordinary outfit. The crucial point took Leopards tally to 7 points after 4 matches pushing it to number 6 in the KPL standing behind Tusker and Sher Karuti with whom it shares points but with superior goal difference.
