AFC Leopards started the 2010 KPL season on a loosing note after conceding two late goals at home to gift the visiting KCB. The banker's first was netted by Joseph Kangata in the 80th minute through a penalty kick after KCB's dangerman Oscar Livondo was brought down in the box. A quick second goal by the bankers came in one minute later through a header to kill the game. The quick goals saw Ingwe supporters lash at the referee for poor officiating, falling shot of locking him in the field. But it was the lack of experience that manifested itself in the Leopards youthful squad, begging questions as to why the new technical bench chose to get rid of the experienced former AFC players like Charles Okwemba, Thomas Biketi, James Kombo aka Junior etc. When pressed by dissappointed fans, head caoch Chris Makokha tended to blame the poor performance to lack of cohesion and disunity in the technical bench, begging the question as to wheather he is fully in charge.
