AFC Pre-season Tour

AFC Leopards will be undertaking a one week's pre-season tour to Western Kenya from 19^th to 27^th December 2009 to prepare its current squad for the next season while seizing the opportunity to scout for new players to beef up the team. All duly registered branches and/or credible tour promoters are consequently asked to send in their hosting bids if they wish the tour to pass their locations. The main requirement is a guaranteed budget not less than Kshs 120,000 to cater for the team's transport from Nairobi and back, local transport, accommodation, hospitality and allowances. Others are a credible team preferably a combination of all the best players in the area to play against Leopards, and an above average playing ground where match tickets will be sold to benefit Leopards. Where charging at the gate may be impossible for whichever reason, the host will undertake to compensate Leopards at a standard rate of Kshs 50 for minimum 1,000 fans, totaling Kshs 50,000. The host must also provide armed security to ensure orderliness at the match of not less than five police officers. Other activities can be crafted in the tour like inaugurating a branch where one did not exist and hosting an Ingwe theme night in a secured nearby venue to fundraise for the club.
