SMP Updates
The consistency ratio of member subscription in the month of November has improved considerably with eight members sending their monthly contribution either for the second or third time. This is an improvement from last month when only four members repeated the feat. Two new members have already joined the program this month thus Collins Were Ojiambo (Kshs 2,000) and Antony Kisia (Kshs 1,000). The repeat subscribers are Oscar Mukanjiri (Kshs 1,000), Bazett Buyuka (Kshs 1,000), Joseph Simwa (1,250), Walter Onyino (Kshs 1,000), Joseph Mutunga Masika (Kshs 2,000), Fred Lutta (Kshs 1,000), Naphtally Ambetsa (Kshs 1,000) and Mike Meso (1,000). A total of 24 members have so far joined the Subscription Membership Program (SMP) since inception in September contributing a total of Kshs 44,750.The SMP is a special program that gives loyal and committed AFC Leopards supporters a chance to contribute to the welfare of the club through systematic monthly subscriptions (contributions) of not less than Kshs 1,000 each. For convenience purposes and in line with the club's policy to embrace ICT, we unveiled the official AFC Leopards Mpesa (safaricom mobile) and Zap (Zain mobile) lines for members to utilize in sending their contributions; thus Mpesa line-
0726 544 155 and Zap line-
0733 817 735. For those who may not utilize either of the two, we unveiled the club's bank account where one could deposit or send an electronic transfer of his/her monthly contributions; thus AFC Leopards Sports Club, Cooperative Bank of Kenya, Moi Avenue Acc.No.
01134120269800. For transparency and accountability, we will publish the names of all the subscribing members not later than the 10th of every month plus the total contributions on the official club website
http://www.afcleopards.net/ and maintain a registry of the same in the club office at Hurlingham, APA Arcade Building, 2nd fl. dr. 13. Benefits to subscription members
(read consistent) will include a free season ticket and a 10% discount on club merchandise. The subscribing members will also enjoy loyalty shares equivalent to their total subscriptions when the club adapts a corporate structure pending ratification by the annual general meeting of the next season. We target to register at least 1,000 members for this program to realize not less than Kshs 1 million per month if everyone cooperates. That will go a long way in helping the club meet its monthly budgetary requirements in excess of Kshs 1 million. Who is next?
