Four members take an early lead in SMP
After two months of the Subscription Membership Program(SMP) coming into force, four members have taken an early lead in consistence of paying the monthly subscription in line with the spirit of the elite program. Thus Fred Lutta, Walter Onyino, Richard Ekhalie and Fred Barasa have shown leadership by sending their subscription on time without coercion contributing handsomely to the total October tally of Kshs 18,500. Others who joined the bandwagon in the month of October are Nathan Iyadi (Kshs 1,000), Peter Ambenje(Kshs 2,000), Musamia Wafula(Kshs 1,000), Bazett Buyukah(Kshs 1,000), Kerri Adaka(Kshs 1,500), Oscar Mukanjiri from USA(Kshs 1,000), Joseph Simwa(Kshs 1,000), Josphat Murila(Kshs 1,000), Fredrick Obongita(Kshs 1,000) and Naphtally Ambetsa(Kshs 2,000). The inaugural month of September had raised Kshs 14,000 from twelve (12) members who claim the enviable tag of being the founding fathers of SMP.But it's unfortunate that only four of the fathers repeated their feat in October contrary to the provision of the program that provide for month to month subscriptions. The SMP is a special program that gives loyal and committed AFC Leopards supporters a chance to contribute to the welfare of the club through systematic monthly subscriptions (contributions) of not less than Kshs 1,000 each. For convenience purposes and in line with the club's policy to embrace ICT, we unveiled the official AFC Leopards Mpesa (safaricom mobile) and Zap (Zain mobile) lines for members to utilize in sending their contributions; thus Mpesa line-
0726 544 155 and Zap line-
0733 817 735. For those who may not utilize either of the two, we unveiled the club's bank account where one could deposit or send an electronic transfer of his/her monthly contributions; thus AFC Leopards Sports Club, Cooperative Bank of Kenya, Moi Avenue Acc.No.
01134120269800. For transparency and accountability, we will publish the names of all the subscribing members not later than the 10th of every month plus the total contributions on the official club website
http://www.afcleopards.net/ and maintain a registry of the same in the club office at Hurlingham, APA Arcade Building, 2nd fl. dr. 13. Benefits to subscription members
(read consistent) will include a free season ticket and a 10% discount on club merchandise. The subscribing members will also enjoy loyalty shares equivalent to their total subscriptions when the club adapts a corporate structure pending ratification by the annual general meeting of the next season. We target to register at least 1,000 members for this program to realize not less than Kshs 1 million per month if everyone cooperates. That will go a long way in helping the club meet its monthly budgetary requirements in excess of Kshs 1 million. Who is next?
