AFC Leopards goodwill ambassador and assistant secretary general Charles Bukeko aka PapaShirandula will meet Ingwe fans on Saturday 12th September at the Nairobi Railways club from 2PM. The meeting, the second of its kind this year will breif fans on the just launched Subscription Memberhsip Scheme with the view to converting the massive club fans into members. The scheme creates an avenue for members to contribute Kshs 1000 each per month towards boosting the club's kitty. Subscribers will benefit from free season tickets and discounts on club merchandise, besides gaining automatic elligibilty to shareholding when the club goes corporate next season. Bukeko said that he will use the meeting to educate fans on the importance of maintaining peace and order at match days besides contributing finanancially to the club. "I will ask them to come on baord as members and help us move this great club forward" he said. AFC plays Sher Karuturi on Sunday 13th September at Nyayo at 3pm in one of the super Sunday double headers live broadcast by Supersport channel 9. The later match at 5PM running into the floodlights will feature Gor Mahia against Sofapaka.(posted on 11th September 2009)
