Ingwe back on Supersport due to public demand
AFC Leopards is back on Super Sport due to overwhelming public demand. Ingwe's top management agreed to re enter the broadcast program after a fruitful meeting with KPL leadership that had requested a ceasefire in relationship for the good of the sport. Inside sources however opined that the KPL management was under immense pressure from Super Sport and the TV audience to readmit Leopards who command the largest following in the entire league. "It was so bad that the broadcaster had threatened to relook at the contract with KPL" said a priviged source who requested anonymity due to the sensitivity of the matter. AFC's Secretary General Richard Ekhalie said that they have since made up with KPL after the company's CEO Jack Oguda admitted having erred in making arbitrary home venue changes without consulting the club. Ingwe's match against Tusker FC this Saturday at Nyayo Stadium at 3 PM will be consequently aired live on Supersport Select. "We are calling on all our fans to come in large numbers to watch the match which will be definitely a cracker" said Ekhalie. (report on 17th July)
