Coach Gives Line Up to Mombasa
Coach Edward Manoah has named his first squad of eighteen to do duty for the club in Mombasa on Saturday 4th July 2009. His goalkeepers' choices are Tiema Barnabas and Victor Omondi, both new signings on serious form. The defense has Shaban Zadock, Kevin Shigogodi, Humphrey Oyando, Antony Lutiku, Thomas Biketi and Arthur "King" Weyula. Named in the midfield are Ken Wangwe, Charles Okwemba, Laurent Tumba, Denis Ngaira, Denis Mukaisi, Georson Likono and Byram Muteshi. Strikers are Frankline Obare, James "Junior" Kombo and Itubu "Mogelo" Imbem. " It was a very hard task to come up with the 18 players because everyone seems to be on form" said Manoah. He said that he had to put together the best team that can deliver three points from Mombasa's Bandari's FC. Captain Okwemba said that he is confident of prevailing on Saturday and called on the fans to show up in large numbers to support the team. The team travels today Thursday to Mombasa.
