AFC Snaps Ken Wangwe and Thomas Biket

Former Sher Katuri's utility player Ken Wangwe and former foreign based skipper Thomas Biketi are the latest additions to Ingwe's revamped playing unit with the two getting the club's nod on the last day of KPL's tranfer window on 30th June 2009. Whereas Wangwe joins the likes of Charles Okwemba, Xavier Francis and Laurent Tumba among others in the star studded midfield, Biketi holds forte at the backline with the likes of his former team mate Antony Lutiku and former AFC dependable Zadock Shaban. The latest signings makes AFC the busiest club in the premier with a record twenty one new call ups. Only nine of the previous squad members made the cut including Denis Mukaisi, Charles Okwemba, Francis Xavier and Arthur "Kings" Weyula. Others are Robert Indimuli, Ekene Umekwe, Humphrey Oyando and Tom Wango. (Report on 2nd July 2009).
