AFC Meets Nyeri FC in FKL Cup at Kabete

AFC Leopards takes on Nyeri FC on Sunday 28th June at Kabete Technical grounds in the first round of FKL Cup knock out tornament. The match comes at a perfect time for the club that has recruited heavily during the June transfer window to showcase its new talent ahead of the forthcoming KPL premier league second leg. Among the players that will be tested in the first competitive match are the two Congolese sensational strikers Imbem and Laurent. The match will also showcase the half dozen youthful signings from Western Kenya who have injected new life in the team that performed dismally during the entire first leg. The winner of the FKL cup will represent the country in CAF competitions that rewards finalists heavily. AFC has won the cup a record six times stretching from the days it used to be called Moi Golden Cup and KFF Cup."This will be good testing grounds for our new signings", said coach Manoah beaming with confidence.
