Ingwe Pips Sony FC to Register First Win
AFC Leopards collected maximun three points over the weekend when they floored Sony FC away at Awendo. The all important goal in the one nill victory was netted by Harambee Stars trialists Sebastian Muchera in the 36th minute after sustained pressure from the goal hungry Ingwe striking force including Denis Mukaisi and Farid Ahmed. The victory ignited countrywide celebration from excited passioante AFC supporters who had been denied victory in the previous eight encounters despite their team displaying sexy football. As a jinx breaker, the victory is expected to restore the much needed confidence and self believe in the youthfull Ingwe side and build the momentum to register a second win against defending champions Mathare United FC next Saturday the 25 of April at Coca cola Stadium in Nairobi. AFC now shares seven points with perenial arch rivals Gor Mahia and as the coach Edward Manoa says ," the worst is now behind us". According to the tactician, AFC has been improving by each match and it is just a matter of time before the team starts climbing up the chart.
